I am looking up the part number for a 21' cable and there are 2 different types of cables but the drawing doesn't say there is a difference.

One has a description of Cable, Remote Control (21')(low friction)
Other option has a description of Cable Assy., Push-Pull (33c-21ft)

The push pull is about 40% more money.

What is the difference?

The Hondas require 33c type cables. These cables, as you probably have seen just have threads on each end.

There are several brands and several levels of quality with each brand.

Currently, Honda is suggested Glenndinning Pro X. They are extremely smooth.

Sea Star Solutions (formerly Teleflex) also have a relatively smooth cable....the Tfx.

To me the Glenndinnings are much more smooth. They may cost a little more than the standard cables, but you will be happy with your decision, if that is the way you go.
