I have a Yamaha 115hp outboard engine on a 2008 Striper boat with a Yamaha shift/throttle control. I had to remove the shifter/throttle lever off of the side boat panel in order to get the panel off so that I can feed the wires for a Lowrance unit that I am installing. There is an electrical cable attached to this lever that probably controls the trim tilt. Looking at the inside of the lever, the sticker says "turn twice to the left" and the second sticker says "Bring cable to stop here". I have tried this several times and reinstalled the lever, but the shift lever still binds in both the forward and reverse position. Can anyone shed some light or hints how to install this properly? Any help would be greatly be appreciated. Thanks, Sam
