Watched all the videos and read all the threads and havent seen this. New to me boat. Weak stream.

Decided to change impeller done many through the years just not one of this make and model. Cannot figure out the shift linkage removal. There is not a bolt head, only appears to be a "pin" through the linkage. Tried tapping on it to drive it out. No luck. I can see it fairly well from both sides and does not appear to be a broken bolt. The marks on the linkage block are from me tapping, does not appear to have a "shadow" from a previous bolt head from the port side. Here is a picture. Thoughts.

Remove hitch pin on starboard side.------push lever to port and rotate.-----shift rod is now disconnected.

Wow, Thank you for the quick reply. I will try this in the morning. Is this procedure mentioned in the service manual? Everything I have reviewed and this has never been mentioned. Thanks again.
