Service manual and engine manufacture

Hello again and I appreciate any feedback-I own a Tracker 60 BigFoot. My neighbors are giving me conflicting information and I am being told that I have an engine built by Force and another is telling me a Mariner-I found a tag on the motor late last night with the following information

OT900676
2004
60ELPTO
MERCURY MARINE

My question would be "Who makes this engine?" and also is a service manual for this engine available and not just a general manual? In other words a model specific manual-thanks

I know I ask alot of questions-not ignorant-but a poor typist and no experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Contact Mercury headquarters...they can tell you all about the engine and will sell you factory manual for about $85.
 
Hi Jim that number is,as the tag says,2004,60HP,Electric start,Power Trim,Oil injected, by Mercury. Now that doesn't mean it was built in the US.Some parts by Yamaha or even built by Tohatsu,spelt that wrong,haven't I ? As guyjg says,get factory manual from Merc.
