"g,day all first post for me,my 7.5 jon/seahorse starts ok as power to push boat along,but then it loosers power,? could it be loosing compresion rings av gone,if so how to do comp/test.thankyou all."

"If it has normal power then l

"If it has normal power then looses it it won't be rings. It is either starving for fuel or dropping a cylinder from lack of spark. Fuel could be bad fuel pump, bad primer bulb, bad hose, plugged vent. Spark could be a bad plug, bad wire, coil etc. First determine if fuel or spark."

"hi guys found problem it was only firing on 1 clyd,i pulled of top spark lead it fired ok replaced it then pulled of lower spk/lead did not fire,changed faulty power pack now its ok,thankyou.power pack cost $185.00.got 4 quotes for power pack,$250 $200 $190 $185 pays to shop around,i could of got it cheaper in the city but g/son inpaitiont to get out there fishing,everything good now.thankyou all.seeya."
