Was getting water in center cylinder of my 78 70hp evinrude. Replaced head gasket still got water so replaced inner 2 exhuast plates and gaskets while in there i noticed a little scoreing on center piston cant feel any groves or scrathes in it.The motor is running okay now no water in cylinder and comp is 95psi on all three cylinders. Can this hurt running motor with piston like this. Thanks for any imput​
 
No. As long as the mtr is running good , keep on running it. Just make sure you use the proper fuel/oil mix.
