Riva Crusader 210 hp weight

Hi all
Renovating a Riva Bertram 25 from 1972 with the old engines taken out. Trying to figure out repower options with an idea of saving some weight - but what did the old engines weigh?? with the reversed drives and gear - anyone who knows? Thanks

The few I've seen usually had inline 6 cylinders (250CID chevys)....with the MC-I drives.

Most of the rebuilds I've seen done either used the inline engines - a couple used V-6's...and typically, they ditched the I drives for Alphas...
