I have got a 1975 Chrysler 90 HP O/B (3-cyl) with a broken thermo switch.
The switch has 1/4-20 threads and mounts on the top cylinder near the spark plug. Takes a 5/8" socket to remove it. If the motor overheats, the switch is suppose to ground out the horn.
Is there an inexpensive replacement available or should I change it to a temperature sensor and gauge?
Are there any Force switches that will work?
A new replacement thermo switch is $75. I don't want to pay that if I have to.
