Removing head shavings from cylinder?

I've just had a timesert fitted to repair a damaged spark plug thread in my BF225. Repair has gone well but I could see some aluminium head shavings in the cylinder when I looked using my cheapo usb camera.

So far I've adapted a drinking straw to fit my shop vac and managed to suck out a good pile of shavings and I'm not sure there's anything left in there. Is there anything else I can do to get the last few out short of pulling the head?

Yep, did that. Sucked with a shop vac, blown compressed air (small tube which got right into the cylinder), sucked another 3 or 4 times - think we're good, turned it over without plugs in. General wisdom seems to be that aluminium shavings, although not ideal, don't pose too much of a risk as they'll get blown out or just burn up.

Job done now, everything buttoned back up and had a good test run in the water tank.
