Hi Guys, new to the forum. My daughter has a 13' whaler with a 1987 Merc 35 HP. The Quicksilver throttle and shift side mount unit is junk. Does anyone know if I can purchase a new one of these to replace the junk one and will the cables work with the 1987 Merc 35 HP. Thanks for the help.

Thank you so much. Thats great. I appreciate your help. Don't ever do much with outboards, we have a DownEast lobster boat with a Cummins so this is a new world. Thanks again.
