"If it original and marine OEM, I've only seen the 750 CFM rated castings in boats. I have seen a few marine uses of the 'newer' castings but they were all supplied from aftermarket sources. they get tailored to the powerplant mostly by selection of the metering parts.

If you only 'want' a 600 cfm, you can add a limit screw to the air valve mechanism to limit its travel. The primary venturi design is so efficient, i wouldn't consider any mod beyond smoothing the casting, if needed."
