Pre '97 BF30A water in #3 cylinder

I have a pre owned BF30A, running on 2 cylinders, water getting into #3 cylinder. I suspect it overheated at some point. The thermostat and high temperature sending unit were bad. There was water in the crankcase oil and water in #3 cylinder. I have replaced the head gasket, thermostat and sending unit. I don't see water in the oil, but am still getting water in the cylinder.
Any suggestions on what to look at next?

Thanks in advance,

Did you check the block and head surfaces for warping?

How about any small cracks in the water passage around the cylinder?

Another way, that I can think of....although a long shot. If the intake manifold was removed when you installed a new head gasket...and you did not clean the surface real good and install a new gasket, the water could get directly into the cylinder there. The water passage is maybe a 1/4" from each cylinder intake. Could also be a warped surface at the intake manifold.
