Power Tilt Hydraulic Leak

I have a 2014 5.7L Mercruiser. I have a leak in the power tilt. I have looked and looked but I can’t find the leak. All I know is I end up with oil in the sump below the engine. How can I find where my problem is? Thanks thanks. Very frustrating
 
Ayuh,...... There's only 2 hoses that go from the trim pump, to the hyd. manifold, which is bolted up-under the transom plate, outside the boat,.....

Its possible its the hoses, you can drop the trim manifold from under the transom plate and see if you have hydraulic fluid running down the hoses. I think if you change them you can slide them from inside out and do your connections on the trim manifold outside the boat.

You may have to get in there and clean stuff off and or use a borescope camera on your phone to see WTF is going on.
 
Yeh all stern drives are a total pain to work on trim. It's almost a thing where you wanna pull the engine out to get at it.
