I have a - 2001 E175FPXSIF and have just bought a donor engine - 2003 E175FPXSTF with a blown cylinder (cheap). Is the 2003 return oil pressure valve part Number 5001054 compatible with the 2001 engine (its a different part number 5000518 and It looks different) If not can I change over the entire 2003 oil system and install it in the 2001 engine, pump lines and manifold etc. ?
I have been running the 2001 engine without the return oil valve for 300 hrs. would this lead to Rich, Lean, or excessive oil usage situation?
