Compression 80#
Complete overhaul. Coils,points,condensers, timed with fixture. Lower unit resealed and pressure tested. New impeller and bearing plate seal. Head gasket replaced. Water jackets around cylinders clean, no scale build up.Head figure 8 squared and sanded down on a plate of glass. Side covers removed to replace broken mount. Carburetor cleaned and rebuilt. High speed jet removed and cleaned.Thermostat and gasket replaced.
Said all that... Motor starts and run good. Pumping good water at exhaust hose. Motor gets hot. Can't keep fingers on head. Lazer pointer shows temp not of 210 Degrees. Pull thermostat and water pan test,opened at 148 degrees. Reinstall thermostat,start run gets hot again. Change out thermostat and it heats again. Removed thermostat than run temp normal appears good can place fingers on head.
