i have a efi merc 90hp outboard. lately the motor would start up fine. but under power the motor would run fine, but all of a sudden it would lose power and run ruft. then it would come back to full power. when it lost power i noticed the primer bulb was not hard. i tried squeezing the bulb under this under power condition but the bulb would not get hard. what i did not do is see when the motor was running strong under power if the bulb was hard. the bulb is facing in the right direction of the arrow. the fuel line with the bulb is pretty new. also i have a merc kicker motor pulling gas from the boat main tank, that the main motor draws from.
