Oil recommendations from volvo penta

I have a 2001 Cobalt with a GM 496 c.i.,375 h.p. Volvo Penta. Have the oil recommendations from Volvo Penta changed in the last ten years? It seems almost impossible to get a definative answer from Volvo Penta customer support. Anyone have any clues?
