Quick and painless question......I hope.
Have a 1988 Chris Craft with a Merc 305 4brl q-jet.
I want to install a oil drain kit.
I am over 90% sure that my drain plug is 1/2-20, but wanted to get a second, third or more opinions.
Any information would be great.

What is the overall size diameter of the capped end of the hose?
Want to make sure it fits into and out of the drain hole.

My pleasure. Change the oil when hot and open the oil fill cap to improve oil drainage.

I've got the pull-end of mine adapted so I can hookup my drillpump,...
On the trailer,.. fish it out the drain, hook it up,+ Done in minutes...
At the dock, the hose is long enough to pull up beside the motor,+ pump it out....
'course, I built my own, other than the pan fitting..."
