Ocean Runner - Clank

Hi, I"ve got a 200hp Ocean Runner. I notice if I'm going slow in reverse I will hear an occasional clang or bang from the motor. I'm thinking it might be the shift linkage not adjusted correctly. I measured with a tape measure last time I put it together as I don't have a more accurate device. Thoughts?

What height is shift rod set at ?

CCW lower or standard rotation? Usually it is a bump like you hit something, not a bang or clang if jumping
