Ocean Runner 200hp - hose?

I pulled the cover off and found this black/yellow hose disconnected on one end. It comes out of the base of the motor below the carbs. Any idea what purpose it serves (water? oil?). and where it connects.

Runs behind the starter to top of block...it does not attach to anything as its vent for lower bearing
