Just installed new (Teleflex) Tachs for both motors. Needed to run a dedicated wire from rear of tach to back side of coil for them to work? Original "sender" wire in harness would not work. Now under load,left motor starts to skip around 2200 rpm's. Right is fine? Would hooking up a new tach cause this? Have'nt started playing around with it yet? and it does sound like a bad coil but Lookin' for some input.
