I have aluminum prop 13 diameter / 19 pitch. Which stainless steel prop would work for me? Do I go to a 13 1/4 diameter and 18 pitch or a 20 pitch.

"Hello Kyle,

switching into stainless you would stay at the same pitch if you wanted to change pitch that would change your performance
at 70 hp you would not see any real benefit to stainless as they cost allot more and if you struck something in lue of the pro braking it could be something harder or more expensive to fix"

"I've always ran at most a 17 pitch aluminum prop (also run a 15 pitch aluminum Hustler) on my outboard and it runs in the appropriate rpm range for the DF70. Tried a 17 pitch stainless and the rpm dropped too low probably due to the stiffer blades and/or cupping of the stainless. I suspect the 19 pitch is to high for your DF70, What rpm are you running at wide open throttle?"
