New OSCO "Dry Fit" Manifolds and risers

Just installed a set on one engine and ordered a second set for the others.
I found them on line from an outfit in NJ.
Price was less than half than the set of Mercruiser original branded Kit.

Side by side, the casting looks identical to Mercruiser. (Except for the name)

Manifold number 5735
Elbow Number 4591

Osco doesn't show them on their web site. Actually their catalog is dated 2001.....

I did find however that the threaded holes for the riser bolts were slightly shorter than the originals that I took off.
My engines have a 4.7" riser block and really long bolts. I had to add 4 flat and 1 lock washer to keep the bolts from bottoming out in the holes.

I don't know, Maybe the elbow casting could be slightly shorter?
What a bargain.

I didn't see them for sale here so I thought it would be ok to post.

I guess the patent period expired?
Could OSCO be an Original Equipment Manufacturer?

Never reuse manifold bolts...buy the correct length bolt as needed. Torque to specs.

neat - they sure look like Merc

I bought my OEM dry joint manifolds from NuWave - good to deal with
