I have a 1978 80hp 4 cyl motor along with the original control box, cables, and dash board trim for traveling. I'm told by my local dealer that a new control box, cables that fit my motor, and a electrical adapter harness are still available. I don't know if they are after-market are not.
Can someone help me with where they may be available, prices, etc.?
I need to do something as I can lift the fast idle lever all the way up and still shift into gear. I don't want to destroy my lower unit.
Any help would be appreciated.
