I bought a new Sierra 18-5186 Ignition Coil, and i checked the resistance between the spark-plug and the terminal (pos and neg) and it is out of specs at 240ohms. (the book says 900 to 1100 ohms)... So i ordered another coil Sierra 18-5186 coil and same thing 253 ohms.
So i'm wondering are these Lower resistance coils good to used, or is this just a bad batch of coils and i should try another source?
1995 115hp 2 stoke my other 3 coils measure at 920-940 ohms
