Need help on the year and color

Can anyone tell me the year of my Crusader with serial number #15634?

Also, for some reason its painted black and not the standard Crusader blue. Does anyone know why it would be painted black?

Probably early 70's.....my list only goes back to 1980 and that starts around 32xxx.....

Its probably black because somebody painted it black.....
