Hello everyone.
I have a Mercury Merc 40 from 1983.
The motor start after I try few times, it will run for few seconds then die. If I start it again it will run for less seconds then die again.
To resume the engine will start 2 or 3 times and every time it starts it runs for less time then dies.
Anyone can help me with what the issue may be? Fuel pump? Carburetor?
This engine probably didn’t run for a year before I got it. So far I have change gas’s line, gas’s filter, spark plugs and cables.
The first time I started the engine it ran nice for a wile a couple of time and it ran until I turned off.
