Motor not spitting

I recently bought a boat with a 1994 or 1995 johnson 30 horse motor. The motor runs great but the water isn't spitting out of the hole. Alot of foot oil is coming out of the prop and i was wondering if it was a water pump problem or if it had a blockage. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I'm leaning towards a blockage but haven't been able to take the foot off yet to see if it maybe the impeller.

Foot oil ???---------It is very normal for a motor like your to leak oil / water mix out the exhaust especially if running on a hose.

When is the last time the impeller was replaced? If you don't know then you should replace it.

Yeah i know its normal for it to have a little but it was oozing out?? not sure if its a blockage i heard the foot oil can gunk up or something. But yeah idk when the impeller was replaced i'm going to buy a whole water pump kit and replace everything. Hopefully it fixes any problems. Thanks for the replies.

Have the lower unit ( know as " foot " in some areas ) --pressure tested to make sure there are no leaks.

You should be able to tell if it is lower unit oil, the stuff smells nasty.
