I broke the shaft on my wireless Motor Guide trolling motor. How is the shaft attached to the motor casing?

Pretty sure it's threaded in like a pipe. What is the model#? You can try this site too for "Electric Trolling Motors".

Thanks. You are right, it is threaded in. It was pretty solid with loc tite. I was afraid I would damage something further, so I didn't want to force it. You Tube saved the day again. I had to heat the casing and it finally broke loose. Thanks again for your response.
