Mercury cutting out on plane

I have a 25hp mercury 4stroke and the past few times out mostly later in the day when i get up on plane or near plane it quits like it runs out of fuel. After that it wont start right back up but does after this happens but does eventually. Ive changed fuel filter and treat the gas regularly. Anyone have a similar issue in the past that can help?
