Hi, I am having a problem to put the lower unit back together, which is the correct way to install the reverse lock cam and in which gear it has to be to get it back together? my service manual is not showing the way it has to go in
please help

Install the cam in neutral,then as Jeff says put both in FWD and away you go

Hi, fastfeff , thank you very much for your help.
I put back together the lower unit and it shifts fine, but now I have another problem, the motor will not start.
There is no spark on the sparkplug and there is no voltage coming from the switchbox to the distributor, could there be a fault in the key switch, or could there be a fault in the switchbox?
I will appreciate any advice.

Try disconnecting the ground (kill) wire on the switch box. It's either orange or black/ yellow tracer. Also--if you still have one--throw away the tilt switch and tape off the wire to it.

PS: That ignition system requires 12 volts to the switch box to work.
