Hello,
I have a mercury 3.3 that I have used a few times this year it has been very fuel efficient until yesterday. Yesterday it used 2tanks of gas while trolling for 5-6 hours then it died and wouldn't start today I pulled the plug and it looked real bad very oily I was on a lake at about 4800 ft elevation like all the other times but it seems to be running very rich now. I'm thinking jetting could be way too fat. The guy I bought it from had just put a new carb on it. Am I on the right track? If so is there a jetting chart for these motors somewhere.
