mercury 25hp has a miss in it

hello i have an mercury 25 i replaced the plugs and wires not fireing one the number one cylinder when it ideaing . but when ya open it up to wide open its fireing ?

Sounds like miss firing change the plugs. Run carb cleaner in the gas mix.

ok got new plugs and wires on it misfireing but when it open up its fireing . just idea when not working .

Bad coil. Seen a bunch of those lately. Try swapping the two coils and see if the problem follows to the other cylinder.
