Mariner 9.9 year?

I have a Mariner #08245915 that I can't find out what year it is. It has no spark and needing to find information on so I can fix it.

B 233200-B 385499 is 1988. I couldn't find the "O".

Thanks for the information. Do you know where I should start in checking why there is no spark? Do i need special testers or is there some way I can find out if it's the stator or coil or do I need to take it to a shop and pay the big bucks for repair.

Check the resistance to specs. of the ignition components. Remove the coils and sand the base grounds until shiney.

Thanks, I printed the pages relating to no spark on my model and will be trying to follow directions.
