lose of power

evinrude 1996 50 hp runs great after 15 minutes loses power to # 2 plug

I'd suspect a bad coil. When they start going bad, they break down when they get warm. Best test is to swap #1 and #2 coil and see if #1 looses power after 15 minutes.

thanks mine is a single coil so think i will try a new one and see what happens.
