Limp mode issue

So I had a 2002 m155a2 on my boat but went bad found a m140a and put it on and used same harness, motor is in limp mode, I saw on another post say it’s because of the harness and they had to get 12v to the safety circuit but I have no clue what wire that would be if even that’s the issue? Any ideas if that’s it and if so what’s the wire color.
