Lifting Helmit 1995 DP-C1 to Service Baring??

I feel stupid when I read simple instructions in getting 2 #8 30 MM long and clean lub the 2 wholes on top of helmit and screw in slowly to release it. I did it screwed all the way in the circle did rotatate accidently 90 degrees as it loosened. It wont easily go back. Got 2 screws exactly 30 mm. Do I pry or what? Help

Yes if the helmet lock came out it can be pried the rest of the way.
Should come out easily if the screws bottomed out.
You might have to tap it back in gently!!!
