Leaky motor

Hi all. I have a 2008 2 stroke 60hp Mercury outboard. I had it fixed about two months ago by a marine mechanic because the engine flooded and it wouldn’t start. Now the engine still is flooding and leaking fuel a lot into the water and occasionally takes a lot to get going. Sometimes I have to detach the fuel line and keep trying to use the choke and start the engine that way. I have also noticed excess smoke coming from the propeller and leg of the motor. I have no clue what’s wrong and would like some sound advice please. Cheers

Compression test first,An open air gap spark test, we do these tests at the beginning of troubleshooting, no reason to put$$Into engine that could be toast

You might have a leaking cold start enrichener valve. It's supposed to dump raw fuel in with the 'choke' on, then stop. Yours might be leaking.
