hey guys, First post here.
I have a Mercury 200 20 h.p. and I've been doing work in it. latest thing was getting the motor to idle down in nertral so it wouldnt slam into gear anymore.
While i was tinkering with it i had it in a rather large rubber barrel. Water pump was and allways has pumped fine, a good stream coming out that is.
After finally fixing the idle now the impeller takes probably 30 seconds to spit water out of the pee whole. I almost have to rev it up to get it to spit the water out. Is this because i messed with the idle speed or did i ruin the water pump in some way?
