Kill switch

While working on my boat I have noticed there is no kill switch lanyard the only way to shut motor down is with ignition key to off. Boat is a 2000 wellcraft 210 fisherman ( tournament edition ) with 2000 johnson 150 ocean pro. Any ideas?
 
I'm not wanting to add a kill switch just never seen boat w/o one and since I bought used wondered if it had been removed and hoping some one out there owned same model and could confirm that it did or did not come stock with one.
 
the lanyard probably just got lost....i cant see a boat and motor of that vintage not having one...look on the controls and see if you have a place for one..the whole thing may be installed and the lanyard is just missing...i also cant see running a 150 on a boat without using it but thats a personal choice..
