Hi folks. Have a Johnson Powerhead with the circular Johnson seahorse logo stamped into it with the number 2081617 just beneath it. Is there any way I can find out the history of this powerhead based on this number?
Back story:
Purchased this motor (1960 Johnson 18hp FD-14) and previous owner mentioned he had "work done" on the powerhead that is on the motor currently and this is "a spare". Im assuming the spare one that is in a box is the original but I can't tell.
