Got a 1990 Johnson 30 off of marketplace a while back. Motor runs, it was a great deal but the cowl is pretty dang beat up. The top hood of the cowl’s gel coat is chipping away and the fiberglass underneath is visible. To re gel coat, would I have to sand the entire top of the hood down to fiberglass then spray gel? Or can I just lightly sand over the cracking areas and then spray
