" I have a 85 Johnson GT150. When I leave it warm up before I leave the dock, I really got to clean it out good before I can put it in gear, other wise it stalls. Even when it's warmed up, like when I go through the no-wake zone at fast idle and I get to where I can take off, I have to put it nuetral and clean it out real good other wise it sluggish and it wont take off very good. When I rev it up to clean it out, it really smokes alot.
I've had a few guys tell me to plug the oil lines on the VRO and start mixing the oil in the gas tanks.
Can I run a hotter plug to keep it from loading up?
The plugs in the motor right now are Champion QL77JC4. Are these the right plugs?
