Johnson 25 hp Water tube grommet

Is it possible to replace the water tube grommet that is inside the exhaust tube? I had a difficult time removing the tube and the grommet looks pretty bad. Ended up crimping the tube a little too. If so, is it the same grommet that goes on the water pump end?

Yes, it is the same grommet. There is a special tool, but it doesn't work all that well. I just poke and prod the grommet in with a couple of long screwdrivers.

Thanks for the fast reply. Does the ridge on that end of the tube go inside the grommet or up to the grommet?
