Question: If a hose was leaking or fell off of an intake manifold recirculation check valve nipple can it cause a cylinder to overheat, via temp alarm to go off?
Been having an overheating issue and replaced water pump, thermostat, and temp sensors, everything except pulling the heads.
Have good water flow through heads with hoses removed.
Found check valve hose had fallen off, haven't got to test it out on the water yet.
Only overheats past 4500RPM.
Thoughts?
