Hey Everybody.
With summer right around the corner the wifey and I decided to buy a pontoon. We got a good deal and it came with a 40hp force motor.. So I am swapping that out for the engine in question, 1985 merc 75hp. The good thing is I believe all the control wires and throttle/gear cables from the 40hp will work. My question is how do I hook up the trim/tilt?
There are two wires with male connectors coming from the control harness and those were hooked up to two wires on the 40 hp that then went to a relay (not sure what that was). Are these my tilt wires? Where do they hook up to on the 75hp?
