ignition parts mercruiser on OMC

Hello,

Is it possible to mount ignition parts en carburator from a mercruiser 3.0 ltr to an omc 3.0.

Carb maybe if it's the same carb (Rochester for Rochester etc). If different the linkage and fuel line probably won't match up. Ignition will not work with the OMC ESA module and you will not be able to shif to neutral without difficulty.

Thanks for the information. The reason for asking is the bad starting of the engine when warm. The mercruiser start inmedialty when warm
