When I run my boat (1972 Tollycraft 26) at cruise for a while and then bring it back down to idle, the engine will die after about 5 minutes back at idle and not turn over for about 10-15 minutes, even when I try a flooded start. This started immediately after I had my engine gone over by a local boatyard. That work included a carb rebuild and swapping my fuel line from rubber to metal.
My first guess was that the fuel line might have been getting too hot, but I've since insulated it with a racing sleeve and am still having this issue. What else could this be?
