How to test components in fuel vapor separation chamber

My 2002 Suzuki DF115 appears to be starving at high RPM (over 4000); if I try to run WOT, the engine will stall out after about 10-15 seconds. At 3500, I can run all day. I've replaced the fuel lines, run with a separate tank, and replaced the low pressure pump, low pressure filter, and high pressure filter. I think the only thing left, outside of an electrical gremlin affecting the injectors, is a component in the fuel vapor separation chamber (high pressure pump, float / needle valve, suction filter).

Pulling the fuel vapor separation chamber is challenging because I don't have a trailer, so I want to get this right the first time. I'm planning to put a fuel pressure gauge on this to confirm starvation (vs. an injector problem). Once I confirm that, is there anything *else* that could be causing the problem besides something in the fuel vapor separation chamber? And is there anything I can do to diagnose which component in the chamber is failing before I pull the boat?
