Alright, I'm "calling a friend."
My 1976 15hp is not charging the battery. I got lazy and just replaced regulator...didn't work. I then took a spare stator that I had on hand and threw that on there...still no difference.
So here is where I need some help:
1) how do I test for ac current from stator - I THINK this is accomplished by connecting a voltmeter between the yellow and the yellow-gray. Is this correct?
2) testing for DC: I think I can do this at terminal block, right? I would assume I connect to the red regulator lead and to a good ground, right?
